ABOUT US
OUR MISSION
Central Virginia Baptist Ministries, Inc. (CVBM) exists to coordinate and to expand the joint mission efforts carried out by Dover Baptist Association, Middle District Baptist Association and River City Faith Network; its goal is to maximize the resources, effectiveness, and participation in multiple missions - ministry projects designed to meet needs in the name of Christ.
OUR COMMITMENT
For many decades the three Baptist associations that compose the greater Richmond Virginia metropolitan area have worked together in cooperative mission efforts. Out of those years of ministry together, in 2006 they formed the Central Virginia Baptist Ministries, a missions / education partnership.
OUR LEADERSHIP
The CVBM Board of Directors consists of the Director of Missions (DOM) from each association (i.e. Dover Baptist Association, Middle District Baptist Association, River City Faith Network) or an authorized replacement, and one additional member from each association.

OUR APPROACH
Each year the associations of Dover, Middle District, and Richmond/River City cooperate in educational opportunities such as Leadership Development Conference and outreach projects/teams such as the Central Virginia Raceway ministry.
CVBM will:

Connect resources of their associations to the shared ministries needs

Enlist people from their associations to engage in the work of the CVBM teams, projects and ministries

Vigorously promote the work of the CVBM through effective communication with the churches and individuals of their associations so as to keep them informed about and supportive of CVBM

Seek additional funding sources for CVBM
